Painting - Ink On Synthetic Paper
Description
Coco Shack- This original Ink painting by Patty Donoghue is a viewers delight, This is Donoghue's first scanned photo to the Pixels website and the first to help a non-profit cause. The original painting was auctioned off at a Lymphoma Leukemia fundraiser earning such valued dollars to this Leukemia research. On its debut appearance in social Media it was quickly called Coco Shack from an admirer and so the name stuck. The actual painting is inspired by the tobacco barns found throughout the North Carolina landscape as well as travels through back roads of Louisiana and a brief time in Grand Coteau, LA. This painting is done with inks and alcohol inks on a synthetic paper. It is framed using recycled materials. The gold frame and dark matting bring out the intense colors and movement that the inks provide. I hope that you enjoy this piece as so many have. It has a wide appeal and is beautiful in either the residential or commercial setting. Impressionism is the style and surrealism the feel. As a bedroom piece, living room piece, lobby or hotel room it is sure to satisfy with the options of frame colors and matting, acrylic print, canvas print or Metal all being great selection options for this designer choice.
Artist Note: This Cajun cabin on the bayou has been a very popular piece. The original has been in several juried shows and featured in Landscapes of the World, Images that excite, Images by Southern Artists, and more. It was selected as an auction piece for the Leukemia / Lymphoma Man of the Year Gala. It was purchased by Dr. Pardee "Man of the Year" 2018 and then auctioned to bring in revenue for Research for the cures. This physician travels to Collaborate between Wake Forest Medical School and Medical Schools in Israel to make a serious dent in tackling these diseases. I am so happy that Coco Shack on the Bayou was able to present well and help bring in the big dollars this cure challenge needs. This piece would look incredible in an acrylic print. I cannot wait for someone to find it and make that happen. Thank you so much for Looking at this hardworking original painting
